Please can anyone help? My great great grandfather was George Hopkins Stroud who I understand to have been born in Dorchester in 1811, married Elizabeth Hutchings in1835 in Teignmouth (Devon) and died in Dorchester in1846. He started a Coach building business in Dorchester. Can anyone find a christening or similar which would give me the names of his parents?

I can't help with George snrs parents but I found these entries on the BVRI which must be his sons.  There's nothing for George on the BVRI

STROUD George Hutchings Christening 9 Jun 1836    Dorchester,  All Saints
Father:   George STROUD    Mother:   Elizabeth

STROUD  William Hopkins Christening  25 Jan 1842    Dorchester, Dorset All Saints
Father:   George STROUD    Mother:   Elizabeth
