Gladys,

I think Isabella might perhaps have died before 1861, possibly in 1852.
Her children are with their father Philip in 1861, but no Isabella, and Philip's sister living with them as housekeeper.
Philip had definitely remarried by 1871.
I can give you all the entries for Philip & family if you wish.

Jennifer

I wonder what happened to Rebecca Elsdon.

Do you mean Henry's wife Rebecca, or his daughter Rebecca?

I have got all the censuses for daughter Rebecca except 1851. She was living in London in 1861. I can give you those as well if you wish

Jennifer

Hello Jennifer thats smashing, your a star, wonder where Rebecca was in 1851 census, she might turn up some time.  Henry Elsdon Henderson had a sister Rebecca, good job the names kept running in the family.  I see poor Michael died as a baby.  I am pleased with all that.   Thank you. Much Appreciated. Regards Gladys. Smiley
