could someone confirm or the contrary, tell me if i am right. I found on free bmd a FREDERICK H STANTON married to MARIA SELBY  loughborough MARIA being the daughter of BENJAMIN  and ELIZABETH SELBY(nee HAMMOND)

I found 2 possible children

CHRISTOPHER STANTON b 1913 loughborough 7a 254
FREDERICK H STANTON b 1915  loughborough  7a 228.

I think you can assume those 2 children belong to Frederick and Maria.  There is only one other STANTON-SELBY marriage in the same time-frame (in Cheltenham), and the other STANTON births with mother's maiden name SELBY are in Stroud, which fits the Gloucestershire couple.

Of course, the only way to be 100% sure is to get a birth cert, but the names are reasonably uncommon, and the location is spot on.  Wink

Why is it that it’s always the last Parish you find the entry you want ?  Cry

Therefore I was only able to do a quick search of the Four Parishes
Only in the years 1913,& 1915.For the Baptisms you have given…

But sorry to say I drew a blank …….. Cry

I will be able to have an in-depth search once the Records Office reopen after Easter..
