Hi
Please could someone help me to verify a few details please. An Eleanor Roberts was buried in St Allen 30 Jul 1830 (page 20 entry No 160). Who were her parents?

A Mary Roberts was buried in St Allen 25 Feb 1846 (page 47 entry 376) Was she the wife of William Roberts and does it give her maiden name in the register entry?

A John Roberts was buried in St Allen 24 Jul 1850 (page 55 entry No 436). Was he the widowed husband of Lucy Roberts (nee pappin).

Is there a record of a marriage for a William Roberts (Bap 11 may 1806) to a Mary Ann ? His parents were John Roberts & Lucy Roberts nee Pappin(pappyn). The marriage possibly took place sometime in 1846 as their first child William was bap in St Allen abt 30 Jul 1837. Their 2nd child Stephen was bap abt 1839 & their 3rd Thomas 23 Oct 1842.

Have you seen the St Allen Site? I see the burials you mention are listed. You will find an age and a residence but alas these records will not give a maiden name.  Cry

Does the age help? If you were to purchase the certificates the informant may help confirm who these were. To confound the issue we seem to have two William and Mary's having children in St Allen at the same time.  Undecided

Eleanor ROBERTS was baptised 30 Apr 1815 St Allen Parents John and Lucy.

How do i purchase a certificate or a copy of the entry in the original burial register for 1830s/1840s.

Copies of Parish Records can be ordered from the CRO but sadly the burial entry can provide nothing further. Those entries you are seeing are complete - there will be nothing further in the register  Cry

A death certificate for entries after civil registration began - 3 quarter 1837 may help with the informants name
