In the 1871 census Thirza is with grandparents

I have searched the birth registers on Ancestry, from 1863 - and no sign of a Thirza anywhere.

There are several births, male and female, registered in the Clutton district, during that period, which I will post for you if you want them but the only possible for your Thirza is:

Dec quarter, 1864, Clutton 5c 623

Filer - female

Perhaps they couldn't make up their minds what to call her!
