Hi,
I wondered if anyone was going to Bedford Archive, I live in Yorkshire, I am now researching my G.G. Aunt, who died in Luton Workhouse, and have the following info:
on the 1871 census Ellen Simmonds (really Simmons) was in Luton Workhouse, she died in Luton Workhouse on the 28th March 1873.Her death cert spells her name Simmonds also.
If anyone could look for me I wondered if she was in there all the time between the census and her death.
