Walter Lock(e) was a farm labourer born in Somerset about 1846. He arrived in South Australia aboard the 'Coldstream' in 1865 aged 19. He died at Riverton S.A. on 6th June 1927.
Walter married Ann Stokes a dairymaid who was born in Somerset in 1844. She also arrived in South Australia on the 'Coldstream' in 1865. It is not known whether they knew each other before the voyage, or met on board.
Any information about the Locks or Stokes would be appreciated.
