Thank you for your efforts. I have NEVER been able to find them on 1841 census in England or Wales. So as you suggest the name must been spelled differently on the form. When they were in USA, they were are farmers - at the beginning.
I wouldn't know which religion they followed in GB, but perhaps there are baptism or marriage records.
