Hello Lloydy

Sarah Iking (Ikin) married Edward Ward in 1839, she had a 4 year old, daughter, born in Shifnal. I assume that the first marriage took place somewhere there or nearby .

Sarah may have been born in Shifnal and her maiden name may have been Dulston(e) or Dalston

Hi Harry,

From FreeBMD there is:

Sarah Ikin married in June quarter 1839, Wolverhampton, vol 17, page 305.
One of the other names listed is Edward Ward.

Wolverhampton is not too far from Shifnal, about 12 miles or so, and the district covered parts of Shropshire as well as Staffordshire.

Regards,
Maurice

Then, for information, the rest of her family is:-

Mary Dulstone - Born May 6th 1803;  baptised May 29th 1803.
John Dulstone - Born November 3rd 1806; bap. December 7th 1806.
Edward Dulstone - Born August 30th 1808;  bap. October 9th 1808.
Sarah Dulstone - Born August 8th 1810; bap. August 26th 1810.

all at Shifnal, parents John and Sarah.

Can't find a marriage yet....
