I think I posted this on the wrong board so will try again.
I have some details of the death of Elizabeth Beaman and a grave in Shrewsbury general cemetery but need further information and wondered if some kind person could do me a look up. This is the information I have but it does not mean much to me but may to someone who knows the system at Shrewsbury; 1875 - 1877 10,018 Elizabeth Beaman 7/12 St Micheals 139 1 BA 1/2 south. Thanks

1875 - 1877 10,018 Elizabeth Beaman 7/12 St Micheals 139 1 BA 1/2 south. This is the reference for the location of her grave.
Elizabeth Beaman Born 1 Quarter 1876 Atcham 6a 740
Died 4 Quarter 1876 Atcham 6b 455. Atcham is the actual registration district (not necessarily the village where she died ) and covers the following - CLICK HERE
Both birth and death certificates will show you exactly where she was born and died.

thanks to you all for the information. Carolw sorry the link did not work I understand the Atcham registration district as many of my tree are from this area.
I have a photograph of the quite elaborate gravestone for Elizabeth but it only says Also Elizabeth 7 months and it seems to be leaning against another gravestone of Edward and Margaret Beaman(both died before Elizabeth). The 139 1 BA 1/2 south which I now know is the grave location for Elizabeth bears no resemblance to the 88 2 C which is the grave of Margaret and Edward. I am wondering if the Elizabeth stone has been moved for some reason. I will send for the birth certificate to see who this Elizabeth belongs to which may help to clear up the confusion.
