Hi All, I have recently discovered a relative working at the Bell & Shoulder of Mutton Inn, Marlborough in the 1880's. Anyone have any information as to where it was ? I have noticed a number around the country at the time. Were they possibly the first chain of Inns in Britain ? With Interest. Cheers.  Smiley

It seems that The Bell & Shoulder of Mutton Inn, was actually on Marlborough Road, Swindon.  Information can be found at the bottom of the page using this link:
