CHANDLER - Little Bedwin
« on: Saturday 22 March 08 20:31 GMT (UK) »

Hi I am searching for info on the Chandler family from Little Bedwin area of Wiltshire, especially Edward Chandler and his Wife Ann/Hannah.
Ann was born abt 1807 in Wanborough and married George Crouch in 1846 after Edward's death in 1839.

Any help with Marriage or Surname for Ann/Hannah would be most appreciated.
All od Edward and Ann/Hannah's children were born in Little Bedwin.

Thanks for reading

Helen

Hi Hmallington.
I have been investigating Chandlers in N.Wilts and that part is very rich with them. There are plenty in Chiseldon, Easton Royal & Milton Lilbourne. What was the maiden name of your Ann/Hannah born in Chiseldon?

Hi Toby

I haven't got a surname for Ann/Hannah all I know is that she was Born according to the census in Wanborough about 1807 and that she married Edward Chandler in the 1820's.
I have found 1 daughter Esther Chandler who was Christened in Little Bedwin in September 1823.
