There really isn't any evidence that Alice had any connection with north London before her marriage. Archibald is in St Pancras on the 1891 census (as was Edward Douglas Atwell). There is a Julia Wickham in Pancras (wife of Caleb) - transcribed as Markham in the 1891 census index but clearly Wickham in 1881 and 1901, and Alice on the 1901 census gives Marylebone as her birthplace - next door to St. Pancras.

On the 1891 census Archibald was a cashier in a Boot stores and a plumber's labourer in 1901 (his father was a plumber born Pancras) so so much for occupations.
Does anyone else remember her or better still any relations she had?

Who were all the witnesses on her marriage certificates - does the name SAGGS feature or ring a bell at all? (forget that last bit)
