Would like if poss please the address of Joseph Keech in 1841 census. He was a publican when his daughter married 1843. Later his wife Mary was a publican according to 1861 census at The Green Man Clophill, Beds. Was Joseph publican at The Green Man in '41 and '51 please.
In 1851 Joseph Keech 50 b Lidlington was a publican at High St., Clophill
No Joseph and Mary in Clophill in 1841. There's a Joseph 40 and Mary 38 in Maulden in 1841. He was a dealer in goods, but as you don't give any details about him it's difficult to know if it's the same one. But in 1851 daughter Elizabeth (Varney) gave her birthplace as Maulden so perhaps it's the same one - on reflection it probably is as there's a daughter Elizabeth in 1841 who I first thought was aged 10 (and who is transcribed as age 10), but there might be a partially obscured tail to the 0 making her age 19 which fits.

Yes, that is the family. Joseph gives his occ as Publican on daughter Elizabeth's marriage, so maybe he became a publican just after 1841. Looking at the census which I have Elizabeth (Keech) Varney is 28 in 1851, and 31 in 1861. She died 1865 aged 44 years.
