Can anyone please find George Varney born 1841 Mentmore, Bucks in the 1861 census.  He is not at home with his mother now remarried as Ann Loke and family.

The only one b Mentmore was b 1843 and was with parents John & Mary

There is one b 1842 in Stone who was in the Royal Navy

Nothing in 1871 either

Thank you both for your replies.  The George Varney living Labour in Vain, Mentmore was a relation of my George. There is a death on free BMD for Mar reg 1851 George Varney, Leighton Buzzard district but seeing George is on the 1851 census that can't be his death? Can only assume George died between 1851 and 1861. Not buried at Mentmore.
