I'm looking for a Birth Record of Thomas Bendall 1711 and possibly a reason why he may have then moved to Suffolk my Thomas Bendall was a Blacksmith can anyone help me solve this puzzle i think he may have been born stinchcombe.

You will have to take my word for this but I assure you I've seen it in the Stinchcombe Bishop's transcript for Dec. 1732 which reads:-

"Bur. Thos Son of Joseph & Mary Bendal 19".  19th is the day not his age!

The parents are as given in the extracted entry in the IGI.

In Feb 1732 (which follows Dec. because Jan 1st was not the start of the year until 1752) is :-

"Bur. Joseph Bendal 27".

P.S.  In actual fact the transcription was exhibited at the visitation of the Archdeacon held at Dursley on May 22nd 1733.
