Help please - I am trying to find Richard and Elizabeth Lancaster in the 1841 census. In 1851 Richard, born in 1815 in Eggington, is living in Leighton Buzzard with his children, Lydia (born in 1835 in Aylesbury, Bucks), Jane, Richard, Levi, Robert and Clara - all born in Eggington. He is a widow. Elizabeth (née Radwell) must have died between 1848 and 1851 as the youngest child, Clara, was born in 1848.
I have tried the censuses with his name, Elizabeth and Lydia's - but I can't find them......... (I have also looked in Buckinghamshire, just in case, but I can't find them there either!)

I have just found another son, Harry or Henry, born in 1850 in Eggington..........

I can't find them either, but an Elizabeth Lancaster age 38 was buried at Eggington on 9 June 1850

Many thanks for the reply - I think that must be my Elizabeth!
I'm working my way through his children and grandchildren at the moment - getting a bit stuck with his daughter-in-law and a couple of her children, so I might be back for some more help soon...
