Hi All. I am trying to make some links with the Pow living in the late 1600's and 1700's in and around Gloucester and Somerset. My pows are living in Compton Dando, Chew Magna, Stanton Drew, Norton Hawkfield, Norton Malreward and the connecting areas that encroached then into Somerset,but which I believe are part of Bristol and North Somerset. It's possible there may be links with Midsomer Norton, so if anyone can add to what I have to make the family bigger please let me know.
