Hi Kiddo and JDC
Thanks for the info.
I've looked at the Hamilton Cemeteries on various sites. They give addresses etc but no emails. Can anyone help me with that please? I think corresponding from the UK might be a bit long-winded!

Hi JDC
Just to let you know that the link to Hamilton Cemeteries was great. I had an answer to my email in less than a week, with all the information I had asked for - and more!
Thankyou,
Joan

Hi Kiddo
Hi SamnJoan.. I have grandparents at: Hamilton Cemetary (Randall) and Woodland (Alice and Harry) which are near each other close to the Royal Botannical Gardens and Dundurn Castle. Grove Cemeatry is in Dundas (viola) On the city of Hamilton site the Cemetaries are listed wiht an email and contact. If you cna get the plot numbers I'll be happy to get a photo for you. I'll be going there this summer. Kiddo Thanks to the Hamilton Cemeteries people I now have the plot nos. etc for Randal Churton Harries and his father William James Harries. They have also given me the year that Randall died!
If it is not too much trouble, please can I take you up on your offer to photgraph the graves when you visit next?
William James Harris (Harries has been spelt wrong): Hamilton Cemetery, August 25, 1906, in Section A-1, Row 2, Grave #9.
Randall Churton Harries: Woodland Cemetery, January 14, 1961, in Soldiers' Section 5-A, Row 7, Grave #41.
Don't worry if you can't manage to do this.
Joan

Hi Kiddo
Thankyou so much. It doesn't matter if it takes a while. I'm just grateful that you are going to all the trouble to do it for me.
I emailed: hmcemeteries@hamilton.ca last Sunday (30th March) and had a reply back on 3rd April! Is it vacation time? The return email came from a girl from '(Temporary) Clerical Support' and was copied to four others, so I wondered if they were students. Whatever, they came up with all I wanted to know!
Very best wishes,
Joan
