John Ball was married to Hannah Martin, her parents were Christopher and Hannah (nee Perkins)

You may want to search RootsChat -Derbyshire section -there is a RootsChatter Kennethmar who has done a lot of research into the martins

also you may find benefit in this site

if you go to the family history section and look for topic "martins of marlepool" -at the moment it is on page 5 of Family History section

sorry, gave you some duff info earlier. John Ball married Anne Martin and not Hannah. I put it down to old age.
