I think the Oz board and Fermanagh, might be the best bets for Maxene. There's just nothing that I can find in Dumfriesshire at all.

What are the records like for that County  Undecided

Maxene's already posted on Fermanagh board for the family but unfortunately the details are before the start of civil registration in Ireland.
