DAY-HEWITT Thorpe Le Soken
« on: Wednesday 26 March 08 10:04 GMT (UK) »

On the 1841 census, Thorpe, Essex, I have my family Robert Day 12, John Day 24, Elizabeth Day 15, Thomas Day 15, William Day 13 and ANN HEWITT 45 and Mary Ann HEWITT 8.
From research I have done I believe the parents of these children were a George and Ann.
So I am wondering if this Ann HEWITT was in fact Ann Day, maybe George died and she re-married a HEWITT, and gave birth to Mary Ann HEWITT ?

Just wondering if anyone out there can see something familiar...how I wish they took relationships in 1841 !!!

Later census's saw Robert living in the East End of London

THANKS FOR READING THIS
