A John JOHNSON marrying a Tabitha anywhere pre-1746?
« on: Wednesday 26 March 08 14:31 UTC (UK) »

Hi, Everyone,
Getting to the difficult part now, searching for an 18thC  marriage between a John JOHNSON and a woman with the forename Tabitha.  As a guide, the IGI has three children baptised to this couple in Chesterton, Cambridge:
John JOHNSON 04-09-1746
Elizabeth JOHNSON 03-08-1748
Tabatha JOHNSON 27-12-1750

Has anyone come across a possible marriage that might fit prior to 1746 anywhere in the area?  I don't suppose Tabatha is a variation of another forename - Elizabeth, for example, has a multitude of variants...
Many thanks, keith
