Brunel's Tamar Bridge
« on: Wednesday 26 March 08 16:04 GMT (UK) »

Surrey has an interesting site "Brunel's Tunnel Rotherhythe" which has been  involved in all sorts of aspects. It started with someone interested in the individuals who dug it. It occurred to me that a similar site for the Saltash Bridge might prove to be very interesting too. Perhaps someone could kick off with a scan of Heath Robinson's picture of the building of it.
I am going to repeat this in Cornwall.
Toby Webb.
