This is probably a long shot but does anyone know anything about the Murray family that lived in Perthsire and moved to Hunstanworth in County Durham around 1700 in a covered wagon? Where they were lead miners before becoming Church Wardens of St James church in Hunstanworth. I am reseaching my family tree and have been told by a family member that the Murrays came from near Comrie in Perthshire!
