RUGGS from Milverton
« on: Thursday 27 March 08 05:31 GMT (UK) »

Does someone have any information on the RUGGS from Milverton circa 1806?  The line I am interested in left in the early 1800s to go to London.  My husband's great grandfather came to Canada from London in 1904.

Hello Ali

Thanks for replying to my enquiry.  I am new to this site and I am not sure if you will receive my reply.

Thanks for your list of BMDs.  Where did you get this info?  I think that William and Hannah are my husband's ancesters through their son, James born 1806.

The William Rugg buried in 1785 - why did the parish pay the expenses?  Was he married, who were his children?

I would appreciate any insights you have.
Thanks again
Merle
