I would have thought that the annotation meant no more than "our house in Wembley" Unfortunately the semi-detached house pictured is typical of the thousands built in that area of suburbia in the 1930s and there is very little chance of it being identified.

Just started on Rootschat. The house in the photo could be one of 1000s. Wembley was covered by 1930s housing. This is a typical semi or end terrace house. I wonder if the title should be 'A house in Wembley'.
