Arthur Merton WOODFORD (born 1866 in Boldre) married Alice Lucy KING in 1893 at Lymington.  I can't find either of them on the 1901 census.

There is a death for an Arthur Merton WOODFORD aged 2, in the  December quarter of 1905 in Southampton Registration District.

Some of Arthur's brothers were merchant seaman/in the Navy so he could be at sea but I still can't see a likely candidate for Alice.

Can anyone find them for me?

I don't think it's that one  Sad - Arthur's parents were Francis and Charlotte.  In 1901 Charlotte is widowed and living in East End, Boldre.

I don't know for sure but it was probably Boldre/Lymington.

Unusually, he was a little more precise about his birthplace and the enumerator left out Hampshire!
