samuel mocroft look up please

hi ,
  apprieciate any help on samuel mocroft born c. 1852 in gleadless  derbyshire
in 1901 he was a boarder with my gt grandad john taylor in eckington derbyshire
cannot find anything about him before then
i have searched and he is not listed on any of the other  census
so he may have been out of england   where was he
thanks for any help

I wonder if his name is Moorcroft,there is a Samuel Moorcroft born in Derby 1852....No Mocroft's came up on FeeBMD..

              quite possibly could be i will have  look,  just curios why he was a boarder could be work related or could be a rellie  ?
