Had 3 credits left on SP so went and sourced a list of possibles for the 3 boys and shall PM them to you.  Did the family stay in Angus?  Do you have the parents death entries?

hi jim

looks like this could be him -
harold hinksman brown died 2003 glasgow , glasgow city , lanark
born c1910(scotlandspeople)
its only an index so it is not viewable online
marriages are only up to 1932
births are indexed up to 2006 but unless you know the names you
won't find anything

ev

ps wonder if a death notice was placed in a glasgow newspaper ?
this might give you family names

Hello Ev,

I noticed the correspondence about the name RAITT and saw how it popped up a bit on some of my Family Tree manual records. You wouldn't happen to know if there's some reference to the "migration" of RAITT family members from the Forfar, or Perth areas down to Fife, would you?

By the way, how's TIA, my Sally Spoodle sends her regards!

Best Wishes,

Tom.
