Hi, I am trying to find Census Place in Liverpool, it existed in 1881, but can't find it in my old pre-war index.

That must surely be a mistake or a mistranscription Jim ! Where did you find the reference to it?

Hi Shaun, I got it from an answer to a posting on my BMD'S question. The reply gives the family with the details: RG11, PIECE/FOLIO 3623/22 PAGE 31. In the 1881 Census. Jim.
