Hi
I am searching for information on the marriage of Ellen Dunning to John Green (later known as
Thomas).  I have found the following information -
Marriage was in September l847 in the district of Kings Norton Vol l8 Page 500.  His father and
mother were both deceased.  Can you help me.

Hi
There was a child born in l846 mother Ellen Dunning and father John Green. Havent been able to
find out where the child went to.  John Green changed his name and came to Australia with
Ellen Dunning.

Hello Daisy

The childs name was John Thomas born 2 Sept l846 in Birmingham, I am not sure of the exact location.  The parents John and Ellen were married on the 14 Sept l847, Harborne, Parish of St. Peter County of Staffordshire.  Unfortunately I haven't got any information of the birth John Thomas snr (born 1820) he changed his name from Green to Thomas around the time he was married. His father was William Green, deceased at the time of the marriage as was his Mother, the date or location. The next child was William Henry Thomas born 14 September 1848 in Williamstown, New York America. I have never been able to find out, the name of the ship or when they left New York. I believe that they arrived in Victoria, Australia. John snr had more children there, before moving to Sydney, where he died.
I would be very happy for any information that you can provide. It has been a great mystery to all our family as though he had something to hide.
