  • Daily Life, Work and Poverty, Runaway Apprentices and Slaves, Commerce, Trade and Bankruptcy
  • Religion, Witchcraft, Jews, French Protestants
  • Scientific Inventions, Wonders of Nature and Monstrous Births
  • Politics and Public Order
  • Low-Life Literature

Tending as it does, to the sensational and villainous, it could be useful, if you have a black sheep (or more), or maybe a skeleton (or two, or more) in the family.  Grin
