Thanks Matt.  I have taken a note of your CUTLERS-HEDGES marriages  info for future reference.  Following on- I am still wondering which family my GG Grandmother Esther HEDGES born ab. 1795 Stewkley comes from. I have been given info that her Father was William HEDGES BP 1767 Stewkley married Mary U/K (William -son of John HEDGES and Esther GRIFFIN who married 8.2.1754 Stewkley but according to the Stewkley Records which Tazzie has kindly looked up for me- the only Esther's baptised at this time were daughters of Thomas & Elizabeth and Robert and Catherine.
Perhaps she wasn't baptised as Esther married Joseph ROGERS at Mentmore in 1818 and no christenings have been found for their 5 children.
A question - Are there any records to find out parents if their children are not baptised around 1795 or how could you find out? Perhaps someone could advise.  Kind regards, Margaret.  New Zealand.
