Horse Fair, Birmingham

Does anyone know anything about a Horse Fair in Birmingham in 1889?  My great-grandfather was married in Birmingham then and gives his address as Horse Fair, Birmingham and his occupation as Barman.  On a later certificate he gives his occupation as Manager of a Travelling Fair.
