Hi,
I am doing a one name study of the Rossiter family and am looking for information please about the parents, siblings and spouses of Robert Rossiter born circa 1825 in Wiveliscombe.
I found him here in the 1881 UK Census:-

His father was George born circa 1801 somewhere in Somerset but I have no details of his mother.
He had a brother William born circa 1826 and a sister Elizabeth born circa 1828 both born in Wiveliscombe.
Robert married twice as far as I know, firstly to Sarah Stone in 1849 ( she died 1850) and later to Charlotte ( maiden name unknown).
Robert and Sarah had one child John William Rossiter born circa 1850 in Langford Budville but I have no details of his children with Charlotte.
Any information would be greatly appreciated please. TIA.

That looks like them though I did think Sarah had died in 1850. Looks like I was wrong.

Many thanks for that.
In the 1851 Census does it make clear who Betty Howell is please? A family servant perhaps?
Looks like Charlotte could be a red herring but I'll keep looking.
Looks, too, like Robert's mother died before 1841 another Rossiter mystery for me to ponder on!! LOL!!
