Hi, Can someone look up the marriage of Samuel Goodman and Sarah Woolsey. It would be before 1786 they settled in Hepworth but did not marry there. On the IGI there is a baptism in 1777 at Barningham for a Sarah dau of Samuel and Sarah but I'm not sure if it is the same couple. Thanks.
Tempsford.

Hi Tempsford
Taken from Barningham PRs.
Samuel Goodman singleman m. Sarah Woolsey singlewoman 20th October 1777 Banns read: 5th 12th 19th October 1777 Presence of James Woolsey, William Andrews (both signed X)
Samuel and Sarah both signed their own names, he signed his surname GOODMANN and she signed hers WOOLSY although the vicar wrote them as above
There was a baptism for a Sarah d/o Samuel and Sarah Goodman, bap 8th Dec 1777 but this was the only child of theirs I could see baptised there.
Hope this helps Anne

Hi Anne, Thanks for the information, its very helpful. Samuel and Sarah seem to have a 9 year gap between their first child baptised in Barningham and the next in Hepworth 1786! Do you know if either Samuel and Sarah came from Barningham? I have the Hepworth parish registers and the Goodmans seem to have moved between the two villages. Thanks.

Hi Sorry I didn't transcribe this - in the banns it said that both bride and groom were OTP, however I don't know anything else about their whereabouts as I just looked the information up at the records office.
Best wishes Anne
