Hi Velcro,

What a wonderful story on Thomas Edgar  Grin

I am afraid you will need either the birth certificate or a baptism to clarify young Anna - Not Thomas - He had an Anna, but alas too many siblings, even discounting John to hazard a guess. Probably would have been looking suspiciously at Anna, but with Thomas calling a daughter Anna as well, perhaps there was more family significance in the name.

WHITE Anna Laura b Mar 1/4 1862 Amesbury 5a 183

Good news on service records for Thomas Charles  Wink You are doing great.  Grin

Hi again Velcro,

I see there is a World Connect Tree. May be well worthwhile making contact. Looks like the tree owner may be connected to Frederick Edgar. Seems Frederick was married in England. Elsie remarried in 1955  Wink

Many dates included - His Children's births can be confirmed in the WA indexes so this looks very detailed indeed.  Grin although owner did not seem to be able to go beyond John and Harriet at time of posting. Tree hasn't been updated in a while but certainly worth an email. Be sure to include a link to this thread in your email.  Wink

Dear Kris

thank you for finding the sites of interest. I will follow up with an email to Adrian Lemke and look up the other website for bdm records for WA.
Many thanks.

Velcro

Im still overcome with happiness that there are people like yourself that are willing to assist to the extent you have, very generous. Cheers
