Searching for ifo;Christina GUNN neeMckayborn Thurso,Caithnessbetween 1840-50(!).Parents;Alex Mckay,Margaret Gunn.Married Robert GUNN who died before census.they had 3 children.i think one being John.

Carole thats great news.I knew there were 3 children but only Johns name & his fathers death from a poem.Now i have christinas birthdate.

According to the 1891 census - Christina re-married between 1881-1891

All b Latheron - address is just shown as Balnabruich - Latheron

Henry Waters 46 crofter
Christina Waters 36 
John Gunn 16  stepson
Margaret Gunn 15  stepdaughter
Christina Gunn 13  stepdaughter


1901 census - they are at the same address as 1891 - no additional children

Henry Waters 56
Christina Waters 46 
John Gunn 26  stepson - occ =  Tailor
Margaret Gunn 24  stepdaughter
