Looking for information on the parents of William Baker

Hi All,

I'm trying to find information on the parents of my 3G grandfather William Baker.  Following a lot of help from this forum I have identified his baptism on 8th January 1809 at St. Mildreds in Canterbury.  According to IGI his parents were William and Elizabeth Baker.  However I cannot find a marrage for them or a birth for William (senior).

Does anyone have access to Canterbury Parish Records?

Any help much appreciated.

I'd assume that St. Mildreds would be a good place to start as that's where William was baptised.

Hi Kevin

I've looked on the Canterbury Marriage Index, & there's nothing for a William Baker marrying an Elizabeth early 1800s.
There's nothing on the Banns Index either.
It's likely Elizabeth wasn't from Canterbury & so they were married elsewhere Sad

Thanks for looking through the Canterbury Index.  Eliminating Canterbury actually opens up a few more possibilities!
