   Hi

I'm looking for a George Hall married to a Helen Murray in 1821 in Selkirk.
Have been giving info they had a daughter Jane not sure of others. Jane married a James Herbert.

George Hall c1799 Melsrose , Helen Murray c1799 Selkirkshire.

Any help will be great.

jane hall married james herbert 1861 kelso roxburgh ?
do you have any certificates that state her parents ?

Sorry i don't.A Genes reunited member gave me the info,and Ive just received this info George Hall,1799 Melrose,  Helen Murray 1799 Selkirk, and 3 other children Hugh 1831 Galashiels, Janet 1833 Galashiels  and Margaret 1838  Bowden  if this helps not sure if any others.

i was thinking the connection was jane/janet and i can see this family
on the 1851 census but not sure if it's jane's family  Undecided
do you have any more info. on jane hall ?
i think she was born c1828 and died 1908 yetholm roxburgh
had children mary ,thomas ,helen herbert
and george hall before she married

then again !

jane hall born 25th may 1825 ancrum roxburgh father george hall(IGI)
on the 1871 census she states her birth place as ancrum roxburgh

Hi Ev,


Yeah Jane died 1908 in Yetholm,Roxburgh.
Her daughter Helen/Ellen 1868 Jedburgh Roxburgh married a George Pringle in 1889.
This is all i have on the family at the minute.
