Hello All,
I'm looking for the birth details of Thomas Armstrong (LDS IGI entry shows him as c24 Jul 1698 Canonbie). Can anyone firm this up?
Also, the same entry shows parents as John & Helen. Again, does anyone have anything more conclusive?

If you go to www.scotlandspeople.gov.uk you will be able to locate,view and download the birth certificate. It's pay to view but very cheap. As you know all the details it should only cost you £1.20.

Only those who are in Edinburgh or have access to the larger Registry Offices in Scotland would be able to find this information for free.
