I've just attempted to find a RootsChatter using the "Find Members" facility and received the following reply ...

"We can't find the page you asked for. It could be that the page has moved, or has been renamed to something slightly different. It could also be that the address that you typed in was just a letter or so out out. Perhaps double check the address you typed in".

It could be that they have a different user name from their RC name.

I'm going to the New Message and clicking on Find Member ... is there any other way?

I don't even get a chance to type the members name.

By the way, we're discussing Find Members (which I can't do at the moment) and not Users Online.

Hello,

I'm still having problems with the Find Member facility. I used to go through New Message etc. and a board appeared on which I could enter a name and do a search. I'm still going through the New Message etc but the board no longer appears for me to enter a name. There's no question of entering an incorrect name ... I can't enter any name as the board doesn't appear for me.

Have you got a pop up blocker for Rootschat?

The Find Member comes up as a pop-up window for me.

I'm not sure what browser you're using but it might be worth making sure that you are allowing Pop ups from Roots  Undecided
