1891 look up for surrey please

looking for the following family who in 1881 are in Lambeth Surrey :

John Thirlwall    46 b. Cramlington Northumberland
Bessie               39 b. St James Middx

Bessie               22 b. Lambeth
John                  20
Laura                18
Evelin                15
Connop             14
Montgomery      12
Edith                 10

John was a professor of music in 1881

I think that Connor and Montgomery could be in an orphanage at St Mary Islington:

Indexed as THIRKILL

Evelin died in Kensington in 1892 ish so the gilrs sound to be the right ones in the right place. 

Can you tell me who they were living with because if they were not orphans then we cant have the right boys.

PS I cant find any of them in 1901 but  Herbert Thirlwall went to the States in 1923 (Ellis Island list)

PS But I suspect that they are the right boys as Connop's initials were Connop E.B. Thirlwall and there cant be many Connop and Montgomery Thirlwalls who were two brothers. The ages dont tally but being in an orphange I dont suppose that was unusual.

The eldest child Bessie Marion married in 1890 in Bromley. I wonder why the children didnt go to live with her.

Connop died 1902 Bromley so perhaps he did go to live with Bessie when he got too old for the orphanage.

How sad it all is.

Sorry - another PS

The girls initials are all right BUT they were definitely born in Lambeth as stated in 1881 census and Free BMD.

What I cannot find is any record of Mum and Dads death.
