hope this is Martha- am not working ages out !

1901 RG13; Piece: 3398; Folio: 35; Page: 13

13 West View Birkenhead
Edward Jones 26 yrs labourer shipyeard b Cheshire Birkenhead
Martha 25 yrs b N K London
Maggie 12 yrs daughter b Cheshire Rockferry
Edward Wm Jones under 2 months b Tranmere
Charles Tidd 28 yrs boarder  Dock Labourer b Ireland

that Maggie posting for daughter is a bit suspect- it definitely says 12 but she is too old for a daughter for either of them- so..  Undecided

Hi Pughy,,

looked through my discs of the 1881 census and can only find one William Everett, he's 48 born Nuneaton, Warwicks a cotton weaver, but married to a Maria with 7 children, living at 4 Brecknock Terrace, St Pancras.
ref RG11 0209 folio 13 page 20.

Do you have the marriage cert for William to Margaret. Whats her surname?

Sorry couldnt be more help.

HI Mel
No I do not have their marriage Certificate.I have searched the Ancestry Index but there are a number of William Everetts who married in the London area I suspect they married in the London area by the birth of their eldest child who was a Martha Agnes Everett born in 1877 district Wandsworth, their second eldest child Elizabeth Emily Everett was born in 1884 district W. Ham.So going by their births I would imagine that they where living in the London area in 1881 but i cannot find them.Thank you for looking for me on your 1881 disc's.
I Now have Magarets Maiden Name from her Elizabeth Emilys Everetts Birth Certificate Which is DUNCAN
I am still having no joy finding a Marriage for William Everett and Margaret Duncan any help would be  very much appreciated.
Regards
