Hello,
I am trying to trace a living Denny that was part and maybe still is part of the Denny sausage company, which is still going very strong in Ireland, but no more in the UK. The Denny's lived and owned quite a bit of Little Horwood and lived at Horwood house.
Unfortunately, I am not related to them !
However, some people of Little Horwood would very much like to get in contact with a descendant of the Denny family.
Any help will be gratefully received.
Many thanks,
David

Hello All
I have a Frederick Denny who married Maude Marion Quilter on 10/05/1888 Sandhills, Bletchingley, Surrey.
The Denny's country house was built in 1912 in Little Horwood (Horwood House).
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Horwood_House
The Denny's sold up in the 1940's. This may be a tall order, but someone may have some past knowledge or some really useful resources.
Best wishes,
David

Hi, are you still searching? This would seem to be the easiest line to follow from Wikapedia "A daughter, Evelyn Elvira Denny, married Sir Everard Philip Digby Pauncefort-Duncombe, 3rd Bt.(born on 6 December 1885) on the 16 November 1922" Have a look at this site http://www.thepeerage.com/p6651.htm you can follow it forward to living decendants. Hope this helps.

Hello Slowbookworm,
Yes, I have managed to find living descendants (should have closed the request...sorry). Thanks for your link, it is very kind of you.
The village of Little Horwood are having a large celebration (can't reminder why now ), but my father in law is on the commitee, and they are keen to have someone from the Denny line, who used to own much of the village and also put in alot of money and effort into the community. The Pauncefort-Duncombe family (albeit childrens children ) still live at Great Brickhill Manor, which is close by. My father in law has contacted the 5th Baronet, and I think that he is still waiting for a reply. They just want someone to open up the fete who is descended from the Denny's.
Once again, many thanks,
David
