hi, i live in loughborough and the main secondary school for C.Donington now as was probably then is Burleigh Community College. This was originally the hickling boys school, then in 1917 the Junior technical college; 1938 Loughborough College school and finally 1972,as now, Burleigh Community College.  CD now has a community college but it only opened in the 70's i think.

Don't know much about junior schools as don't know dates.

is St Edwards C of E primary in CD
Orchard primary
Diseworth C of E
Hemington primary
Kegworth primary

may give you some starting points - worth giving Loughborough Library a call they have a large local studies/family history section.:

Loughborough library,
granby Street,
Loughborough LE11    Grin
