Would SKS have a look in the above for a Catherine Challis please ?
I've found a reference to her in the London Gazette dated 1848 and 1849, where she assigns 'all her personal estate and effects...Allen Watson..'
She is described as 'Grocer and Draper' in the Debtors and Creditors notice dated 30th Dec 1848.
Is she described as a Widow in the 1851 census but married in the 1841 ?
