Hi All,

I'd like to introduce myself.

I'm researching a couple of families in Cumberland.  

Lowther
My Lowthers were china and glass dealers at East End in Wigton.  Henry Lowther (b1782 d1856) married to John Ann Young was the son of John Lowther (b1755 d1843) and Mary Steward.  I have lots of collected snippets on other Lowthers in the area but don't know how they all link together Huh

Robinson
New line in my research.  Thomas Robinson living in Crosby on Eden in 1841 was married to Mary Anderson and they are the parents of Thomas Robinson who married Margaret Lowther and moved to Scotland.

Anderson
Mary Anderson's parents were Thomas and Elizabeth Anderson of Longtown.

If anyone has any connections I would love to hear from you.

Due to furious research in this area I also have additional interests all in Wigton.  Anyone interested in PATTINSON or SIMPSON.
