hi Anyone out there looking for Bunns. Particularly William H (prob Henry cos I think I found parents). He was born in Peldon, Colchester, Essex around 1811. The first census I can find for him is in Wrexham, Denbighshire in 1861. He married an Emma (born in Southampton around 1825) and looks like had his first 2 children in Limerick 1852 & 3. the rest were born in Wrexham (was he married before?) and why would he have gone to Ireland when everyone else was leaving. Anyone researching Bunns from Peldon know anything. Either the surname for Emma, marriage date or anything really. Thanks Elaine

Hi
Quote
Either the surname for Emma,
The youngest 4 children on the 1861 were all b Wrexham. A copy of any one of their birth certs will show Emma's maiden name which may help in finding their marriage

Hi Daisy Thanks for info. The dates seem to fit dont they. I know next to nothing about all things military though; Would he have been allowed to marry at that time and have his wife with him in Ireland. I am looking at mo if that regiment was anywhere near Limerick. If I ordered the record what sort of info is normally contained on it?
